This is a balsamic vinegar of excellent quality, which is produced with the finest selection of ingredients and is aged in 225 litre oak barrels. It has a delicate aroma, sharp flavour and balanced acidity. It goes particularly well with cooked or raw vegetables.

Balsamic vinegar of Modena from the Antica Acetaia La Secchia is a handcrafted product, made from all natural ingredients of the utmost quality and does not contain any chemical additives or artificial fragrances (caramel, colouring agents, fragrance substances, acacia gum, etc.). It is the product of excellent quality cooked musts (Lambrusco di Sorbara, Lambrusco Grasparossa, Ancellotta, Trebbiano di Spagna, Trebbiano Montanaro, Sangiovese, Albana di Romagna) that are skilfully mixed to make five different Cuvées. The ageing process is usually done in precious French oak barrels, that are occasionally changed over in order to favour optimal oxidation and the release of aromatic substances.
